Diarist. Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 July 2026

Diarist is a private space for families to plan things together. We collect the minimum needed to make that work, and nothing else.

What we collect

Account: your email address and the name you sign in with (via Sign in with Apple). Content you create: plans, RSVPs, and comments, visible only to the people you invite. Push tokens: so invitations and replies can reach your device.

What we don't do

No advertising, no analytics trackers, no selling or sharing data with third parties. Your contacts are used on your device only, to help you pick who to invite; they are never uploaded. Nothing you write is public.

Where it lives

Data is stored with Supabase (hosted in the EU) and protected by row-level security: each family's data is only readable by its members. Invitation emails are delivered via Resend.

Your rights

In the app's Profile tab you can download all your data (GDPR Art. 15) or delete your account and everything with it (GDPR Art. 17), instantly and without asking us.
